Subasta / Second Hand Items
WHAT IS SUBASTA?
Second-Hand / Pre-Owned Gold Jewelry Policy
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE PURCHASING
1. Meaning of Subasta
The word Subasta traditionally means auction in Spanish and Filipino usage.
At D’ Precious Jade Jewelry Corp., we use the term SUBASTA to refer to our special collection of authentic, pre-owned or second-hand gold jewelry offered for resale at competitive prices.
Our Subasta LIVE selling events are not necessarily auctions or bidding events. Jewelry may be offered at fixed selling prices.
Subasta gives customers an opportunity to purchase beautiful gold jewelry at potentially more affordable prices compared with similar brand-new items.
Please remember: Subasta jewelry is NOT brand-new jewelry.
2. Jewelry Condition
Our Subasta collection generally consists of premium second-hand jewelry assessed to be in approximately 85% or better condition, unless otherwise disclosed.
As these items have been previously owned, they may show:
Minor scratches or surface marks.
Normal signs of previous use.
Slight discoloration or variations in appearance.
Minor dents or imperfections.
Signs of previous polishing, resizing, or repair, when known.
We make reasonable efforts to disclose noticeable imperfections during our LIVE selling sessions or in our product descriptions.
Condition percentages are based on our general visual assessment and are not independent professional condition grades.
Customers must not expect second-hand jewelry to have the same condition as brand-new jewelry.
3. Gold Authenticity and Verification
At D’ Precious Jade Jewelry Corp., we take reasonable steps to verify the gold jewelry we offer for sale.
Our verification procedures may include:
Gold testing using appropriate testing equipment.
Chemical gold testing when necessary.
Examination of gold markings and physical characteristics.
Weight verification.
We encourage customers to review the disclosed karat, weight, measurements, and product details before purchasing.
4. Customer Responsibility Before Purchasing
Before commenting MINE or confirming an order, customers are responsible for reviewing:
Gold karat or purity.
Jewelry weight.
Size, length, and width.
Design and appearance.
Item condition and disclosed imperfections.
Selling price.
Payment and shipping terms.
Customers may ask questions or request clarification before confirming their purchase.
Please note that actual jewelry appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, camera settings, and screen displays.
5. Subasta LIVE Reservation Policy
For designated Subasta LIVE events:
A $100 reservation fee may be required through our official reservation link.
The reservation fee will be deducted from the customer's eligible confirmed purchase.
The reservation fee is intended to be non-refundable and non-transferable if the customer voluntarily cancels or fails to complete the purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Commenting MINE indicates the customer's intention to purchase the item at the announced price and disclosed terms.
Orders are subject to confirmation and invoicing by D’ Precious Jade Jewelry Corp.
Customers must settle their invoices within the stated payment deadline.
6. Payment and Order Confirmation
Customers must complete payment according to their invoice and approved payment arrangements.
An order is considered fully paid only after payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
Failure to complete payment within the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation or order, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Final Sale — Return and Exchange Policy
ALL SUBASTA / SECOND-HAND JEWELRY PURCHASES ARE FINAL SALE FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND REASONS.
We do not accept discretionary returns, exchanges, or refunds for:
Change of mind after purchasing.
Personal dissatisfaction with the design or appearance.
Incorrect size selected or confirmed by the customer.
Preference for another jewelry item.
Normal signs of previous use disclosed before purchase.
Minor imperfections consistent with the item's disclosed condition.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all relevant details before confirming their purchase.
IMPORTANT: Final sale does not remove statutory consumer rights. Customers may still be entitled to a remedy if an item is defective, materially misrepresented, or supplied incorrectly, as provided by applicable law.
8. Damaged, Incorrect, or Misrepresented Items
If a customer receives jewelry that appears damaged during shipping, materially different from its description, or different from the confirmed order, they should contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We request:
Order or invoice number.
Clear photographs of the item and packaging.
A continuous unboxing video.
A detailed description of the concern.
We strongly encourage customers to record a continuous unboxing video when opening their parcel.
An unboxing video helps us investigate shipping-related concerns and verify the condition of the item upon arrival.
All concerns will be reviewed fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is available to eligible destinations in Canada and the USA.
Shipping fees and applicable taxes will be disclosed before checkout.
Customers must provide accurate and complete shipping information.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their shipping details and monitoring the tracking information provided.
Orders are processed according to our published shipping schedule.

USA Customers — Customs Duties and Tariffs: Shipments to the United States may be subject to applicable import tariffs, customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees. These charges are determined by U.S. customs authorities and/or the shipping carrier and are outside our control. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the customer is responsible for paying applicable import charges. The amount may vary depending on the shipment and applicable regulations.
